Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.46% on Wednesday due to muted demand in the domestic market, with analysts citing position trimming by speculators.
New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday fell 0.46 per cent to Rs 829.80 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery eased by Rs 3.80 or 0.46 per cent to Rs 829.80 per kg in a business turnover of 3,012 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
