Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell on Tuesday due to muted demand and profit-taking by traders. Learn more about the latest copper price movements.
New Delhi, Nov 28 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday fell Rs 2.55 to Rs 716.30 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery eased by Rs 2.55 or 0.35 per cent to Rs 716.30 per kg in a business turnover of 5,243 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
