Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 0.51% to Rs 874.10 per kg on June 6, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts attributed the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jun 6 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday rose 0.51 per cent to Rs 874.10 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in June traded higher Rs 4.45 or 0.51 per cent at Rs 874.10 per kg in a business turnover of 6,013 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
