Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices surged 0.51% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased spot demand, fueled by trader optimism. Read more about the copper market.
New Delhi, Jun 10 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday rose 0.51 per cent to Rs 858 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in June traded higher Rs 4.35 or 0.51 per cent at Rs 858 per kg in a business turnover of 6,909 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
