Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand - PTI
Copper futures gained on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Wednesday due to increased spot demand, with prices rising by Rs 5.50 per kilogram. Analysts attribute the rise to higher bets by participants.
New Delhi, Mar 12 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday rose Rs 5.50 to Rs 895.90 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery grew Rs 5.50 or 0.62 per cent to Rs 895.90 per kg in a business turnover of 2,272 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
