Copper Futures Rise on Strong Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose on Wednesday due to higher spot demand and increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Mar 5 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday rose Rs 11.75 to Rs 875 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery grew Rs 11.75 or 1.36 per cent to Rs 875 per kg in a business turnover of 994 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
