Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 35 paise to Rs 716.90 per kilogram on Wednesday, driven by muted demand in the domestic market.
New Delhi, Feb 7 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday marginally fell 35 paise to Rs 716.90 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery eased by 35 paise or 0.05 per cent to Rs 716.90 per kg in a business turnover of 5,230 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
