Copper Futures Slip on Weak Demand | PTI
Copper futures declined on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to muted demand in the domestic market, according to PTI. Speculators trimmed their positions, leading to price drops.
New Delhi, Dec 8 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday declined 20 paise to Rs 715 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery eased by 20 paise or 0.03 per cent to Rs 715 per kg in a business turnover of 5,113 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
