Copper futures declined on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to muted demand in the domestic market, according to PTI. Speculators trimmed their positions, leading to price drops.
New Delhi, Dec 8 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday declined 20 paise to Rs 715 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery eased by 20 paise or 0.03 per cent to Rs 715 per kg in a business turnover of 5,113 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
