Coriander Futures Decline on Low Demand
Coriander futures prices fell on Wednesday due to weak demand in the spot market. Speculators reduced their positions, leading to a decline of Rs 52 per quintal.
New Delhi, Dec 18 (PTI) Coriander prices on Wednesday eased Rs 52 to Rs 7,844 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for December delivery declined Rs 52 or 0.66 per cent to Rs 7,844 per quintal in 19,105 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in the spot market mainly led to the decline in coriander prices here.
