Coriander Futures Rise on Higher Demand | PTI
Coriander prices surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, driven by increased speculator interest and a strong spot market trend.
New Delhi, Nov 22 (PTI) Coriander prices on Friday increased Rs 22 to Rs 7,856 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for December delivery increased by Rs 22 or 0.28 per cent to Rs 7,856 per quintal in 20,510 lots.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
