Coriander futures prices rose on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased speculator activity and strong demand in the spot market.
New Delhi, Dec 14 (PTI) Coriander prices on Friday rose Rs 48 to Rs 7,462 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for December delivery traded higher by Rs 48 or 0.64 per cent at Rs 7,462 per quintal with an open interest of 860 lots.

A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
