Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to increased demand for cattle feed and fresh bets from speculators.
New Delhi, Nov 7 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday rose Rs 62 to Rs 2,929 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 62 or 2.12 per cent at Rs 2,929 per quintal with an open interest of 18,990 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 62 or 2.12 per cent at Rs 2,929 per quintal with an open interest of 18,990 lots.
