Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Friday due to increased demand for cattle feed, leading to fresh bets by speculators.
New Delhi, Dec 1 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday rose Rs 29 to Rs 2,916 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 29 or 0.99 per cent at Rs 2,916 per quintal with an open interest of 38,460 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
