Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Friday due to increased demand for cattle feed, prompting speculators to create fresh positions.
New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday rose Rs 1 to Rs 2,670 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January delivery traded higher by Rs 1 or 0.04 per cent at Rs 2,670 per quintal with an open interest of 14,530 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
