Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand
Cottonseed oil cake prices rose on Monday due to increased demand for cattle feed and fresh positions created by speculators.
New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday grew Rs 11 to Rs 2,681 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January delivery traded higher by Rs 11, or 0.41 per cent, at Rs 2,681 per quintal with an open interest of 11,690 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
