Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Wednesday due to increased demand for cattle feed, according to reports from the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Feb 14 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose Rs 18 to Rs 2,438 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded higher Rs 18, or 0.74 per cent, at Rs 2,438 per quintal with an open interest of 18,770 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
