Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Monday due to increased demand for cattle feed and fresh bets by speculators. The May contract on NCDEX gained Rs 31 to close at Rs 2,557 per quintal.
New Delhi, Apr 22 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday rose Rs 31 to Rs 2,557 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher Rs 31 or 1.21 per cent at Rs 2,557 per quintal with an open interest of 77,570 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher Rs 31 or 1.21 per cent at Rs 2,557 per quintal with an open interest of 77,570 lots.
