Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Monday due to fresh bets and higher demand for cattle feed, according to the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Apr 29 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday rose Rs 13 to Rs 2,553 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher Rs 13 or 0.51 per cent at Rs 2,553 per quintal with an open interest of 75,430 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher Rs 13 or 0.51 per cent at Rs 2,553 per quintal with an open interest of 75,430 lots.
