Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Surge on Demand

New Delhi, Apr 1 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 62 to Rs 2,843 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher by Rs 62 or 2.18 per cent at Rs 2,843 per quintal with an open interest of 38,360 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
