Crude Oil Futures Decline Amid Weak Global Cues

Crude oil futures declined on Friday due to weak demand and global cues. WTI crude fell 1.16% to USD 66.17 per barrel, while Brent Crude traded 1.11% lower at USD 69.36.

New Delhi, Apr 4 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Friday declined Rs 84 to Rs 5,635 per barrel in futures trade as participants trimmed their positions tracking weak demand in the overseas market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for May delivery declined Rs 84 or 1.47 per cent to Rs 5,635 per barrel in 2,192 lots.
Analysts said the prices were affected following participants offloading their holdings amid weak global cues.
On the global front, West Texas Intermediate crude oil decreased 1.16 per cent to USD 66.17 per barrel and Brent Crude was trading 1.11 per cent lower at USD 69.36 a barrel in New York.
