Crude oil futures declined on Wednesday due to low demand, falling 0.93% to Rs 5,664 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Global crude prices also fell.

New Delhi, Dec 13 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Wednesday declined 0.93 per cent to Rs 5,664 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery fell Rs 53 or 0.93 per cent to Rs 5,664 per barrel with a business volume of 13,364 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.83 per cent lower at USD 68.04 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading down 0.87 per cent at USD 72.60 per barrel in New York.
