Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange declined 0.82% to Rs 6,078 per barrel on Monday, driven by low demand. Global oil prices also fell.

New Delhi, Jan 8 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Monday declined 0.82 per cent to Rs 6,078 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery fell Rs 50 or 0.82 per cent to Rs 6,078 per barrel with a business volume of 14,758 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 1.10 per cent lower at USD 73 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.91 per cent down at USD 78 per barrel in New York.
