Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand

Crude oil futures fell on Monday due to low demand, with prices dropping to Rs 6,468 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Global oil prices also saw a decline.
New Delhi, Jul 29 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Monday declined 0.15 per cent to Rs 6,468 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for August delivery fell Rs 10 or 0.15 per cent to Rs 6,468 per barrel with a business volume of 8,159 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.05 per cent lower at USD 77.20 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.16 per cent down at USD 81.26 per barrel in New York.
