Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Apr 3 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday climbed Rs 46 to Rs 7,123 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery traded higher Rs 46 or 0.65 per cent at Rs 7,123 per barrel in 8,627 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.25 per cent to USD 85.36 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.31 per cent higher at USD 89.20 per barrel in New York.
