Crude Oil Prices Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures fell by Rs 8 to Rs 6,214 per barrel on Tuesday due to low demand and reduced bets by participants. Global oil prices also declined.
New Delhi, Sep 3 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday declined Rs 8 to Rs 6,214 per barrel in futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for September delivery traded lower Rs 8 or 0.13 per cent at Rs 6,214 per barrel in 9,559 lots.
Analysts said declining of bets by participants kept crude oil prices lower in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil fell by 0.53 per cent to USD 73.94 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.39 per cent lower at USD 77.22 per barrel in New York.
