Gold prices fell on Monday, dropping Rs 192 to Rs 77,125 per 10 grams in futures trade, influenced by weak global demand. Analysts attributed the decline to weak global cues, with gold futures decreasing by 0.29% in New York.

New Delhi, Jan 6 (PTI) Gold prices on Monday dropped Rs 192 to Rs 77,125 per 10 grams in futures trade amid fall in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for February delivery traded lower by Rs 192 or 0.25 per cent at Rs 77,125 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,442 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.
Globally, gold futures decreased by 0.29 per cent to USD 2,632.54 per ounce in New York.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for February delivery traded lower by Rs 192 or 0.25 per cent at Rs 77,125 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,442 lots.
