Gold Futures Drop to Rs 85,178/10gm: MCX, Global Cues

New Delhi, Feb 12 (PTI) Gold prices on Wednesday fell Rs 345 to Rs 85,178 per 10 grams in futures trade amid muted in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for April delivery traded lower Rs 345 or 0.4 per cent at Rs 85,178 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 16,401 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.
Globally, gold futures decreased by 0.18 per cent to USD 2,892.76 per ounce in New York.
