New Delhi, Apr 4 (PTI) Gold prices on Friday declined Rs 242 to Rs 89,815 per 10 grams in futures trade amid muted spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for June delivery traded lower by Rs 242 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 89,815 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 18,422 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to muted spot demand.
In the international markets, gold futures rose 0.36 per cent to USD 3,104.06 per ounce in New York.
