Gold Futures Remain Flat: Prices Dip Slightly

Gold prices declined slightly on Friday, trading almost flat at Rs 61,975 per 10 grams in futures trade. Analysts attribute the fall to weak global cues.

New Delhi, Feb 23 (PTI) Gold prices on Friday declined Rs 2 to Rs 61,975 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for April delivery traded lower by Rs 2 and remained almost flat at Rs 61,975 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 13,273 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues. Globally, gold was trading at USD 2,030.60 per ounce in New York.
