Gold Futures Slip on Low Demand: Prices Decline in India

New Delhi, Aug 20 (PTI) Gold prices on Tuesday marginally declined Re 1 to Rs 71,583 per 10 grams in futures trade amid weak global cues.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery traded lower by Re 1 to Rs 71,583 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 17,375 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.
Globally, gold prices went up by 0.05 per cent to USD 2,542.50 per ounce in New York.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery traded lower by Re 1 to Rs 71,583 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 17,375 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.
