Guar gum futures prices fell on Tuesday due to low demand and ample supplies from growing regions. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw guar gum for October delivery decline by Rs 66 per quintal.
New Delhi, Sep 24 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday dropped Rs 66 to Rs 11,226 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for October delivery fell Rs 66 or 0.59 per cent to Rs 11,226 per quintal in 45,030 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
