Guar Gum Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures fell on Friday due to low demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions. Prices dropped by Rs 32 to Rs 11,388 per five quintals on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Dec 1 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday dropped Rs 32 to Rs 11,388 per five quintals in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for December delivery fell Rs 32 or 0.88 per cent to Rs 11,388 per five quintals in 31,745 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
