Guar Gum Futures Drop on Weak Demand
Guar gum futures fell on Wednesday due to weak demand and ample supplies, dropping Rs 13 to Rs 10,674 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday dropped Rs 13 to Rs 10,674 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for December delivery fell Rs 13 or 0.12 per cent to Rs 10,674 per quintal in 36,790 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
