Guar Gum Futures Plunge on Weak Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures dropped on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to low demand and ample supplies. Read more about the price decline in the spot market.
New Delhi, Aug 26 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday dropped Rs 81 to Rs 10,085 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for September delivery fell Rs 81 or 0.80 per cent to Rs 10,085 per quintal in 39,425 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
