Guar gum futures prices rose on Friday due to strong spot demand and increased speculator holdings. The January contract traded higher on the NCDEX.
New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday increased Rs 30 to Rs 10,430 per 5 quintals in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for January delivery traded higher by Rs 30 or 0.29 per cent at Rs 10,430 per 5 quintals with an open interest of 6,460 lots.
