Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices rose on Thursday, driven by increased demand in the physical market. Speculators raised their bets, pushing prices up on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Jan 4 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Thursday increased Rs 101 to Rs 10,243 per five quintals in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for January delivery traded higher by Rs 101 or 0.99 per cent at Rs 10,243 per five quintals with an open interest of 26,005 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
