Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices rose on Wednesday due to increased demand and speculation. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw guar gum contracts for March delivery trade higher.
New Delhi, Mar 6 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday increased Rs 27 to Rs 9,978 per five quintals in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for March delivery traded higher Rs 27 or 0.27 per cent at Rs 9,978 per five quintals with an open interest of 19,165 lots.
Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
