Guar Seed Futures Decline Amid Ample Supplies

Guar seed futures prices fell on Wednesday due to increased supply from producing regions. The decline was seen on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, May 8 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday declined Rs 16 to Rs 5,431 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery plummeted Rs 16 or 0.29 per cent to Rs 5,431 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 25,475 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
