Guar Seed Futures Decline Amid Ample Supplies
Guar seed futures prices fell on Thursday due to increased supply from producing regions. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw a decline in May contracts.
New Delhi, May 9 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 6 to Rs 5,412 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery plummeted Rs 6 or 0.11 per cent to Rs 5,412 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 21,105 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
