Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supplies - PTI
Guar seed futures prices fell on Friday due to increased supplies from producing regions, according to the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Aug 2 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 142 to Rs 5,535 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery fell Rs 142 or 2.57 per cent to Rs 5,535 per quintal with an open interest of 27,890 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
