Guar seed futures prices fell on Tuesday due to increased supplies from producing regions, according to the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Jul 2 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined Rs 4 to Rs 5,349 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery plummeted Rs 4 or 0.08 per cent to Rs 5,349 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 37,405 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
