Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supplies

Guar seed futures prices fell on Thursday due to increased supply from producing regions. The November contract on NCDEX closed at Rs 5,540 per quintal.
New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 20 to Rs 5,540 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery fell Rs 20 or 0.36 per cent to Rs 5,540 per quintal with an open interest of 52,665 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
