Guar seed futures fell on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to ample supplies from growing regions. Prices dropped to Rs 5,118 per quintal.
New Delhi, Dec 13 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday slipped Rs 7 to Rs 5,118 per quintal in the futures trade amid ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for December delivery fell Rs 7 or 0.14 per cent to Rs 5,118 per quintal with an open interest of 14,770 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
