Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supplies
Guar seed prices fell on Friday due to abundant supplies, with March contracts on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange declining to Rs 5,271 per quintal.
New Delhi, Feb 28 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined by Rs 6 to Rs 5,271 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery fell by Rs 6 or 0.11 per cent to Rs 5,271 per quintal with an open interest of 45,470 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
