Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply - PTI

Guar seed prices fell in futures trading on Thursday due to increased supply from producing regions. The February contract on the NCDEX declined Rs 2 to Rs 5,310 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Feb 1 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 2 to Rs 5,310 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery plummeted Rs 2, or 0.04 per cent, to Rs 5,310 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 51,350 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
