Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply - PTI

Guar seed futures prices fell on Tuesday due to increased supply from producing regions. The February contract on NCDEX closed at Rs 5,330 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Feb 20 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined Rs 30 to Rs 5,330 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery plummeted Rs 30, or 0.56 per cent, to Rs 5,330 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 235 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
