Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply
Guar seed futures prices fell on Thursday due to increased supply from producing regions. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw guar seed contracts for July delivery decline by Rs 25 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Jul 4 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 25 to Rs 5,351 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery plummeted Rs 25 or 0.47 per cent to Rs 5,351 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 29,980 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
