Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply
Guar seed futures prices fell on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased supply from producing regions.
New Delhi, Aug 29 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 14 to Rs 5,342 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for September delivery fell Rs 14 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 5,342 per quintal with an open interest of 42,555 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
