Guar seed futures prices fell on Friday due to increased supply from producing regions, according to the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Dec 29 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 17 to Rs 5,534 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for December delivery plummeted Rs 17 or 0.31 per cent to Rs 5,534 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 49,325 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
