Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply

Guar seed futures prices fell on Friday due to increased supply from producing regions. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw guar seed contracts for February delivery decline to Rs 5,270 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Mar 1 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 6 to Rs 5,270 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery plummeted Rs 6 or 0.11 per cent to Rs 5,270 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 52,345 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
